in reach of summer!

another season is on its way.  summer is just rising over the hills as the birthings of spring are learning to walk and say their first words.  i continue to be amazed at the blessings i have been receiving in 2009.  my shishter said this was my year.  so far, it's been unwrapping itself to prove just that.  

i am looking forward to a summer of many adventures--building a natural home on 5 acres of farm land, strengthening my sea kayaking skills, making food on wood burning stoves and in sun ovens, delighting in being surrounded by Mama Earth's bounty and nourishing womb, spending time with beloveds of all varieties, and whatever still is shadowed in mystery.

i continue to follow my heart, hold on to myself and my roots when fear trickles in, talk to my girl friends to help circumvent any drama-making with my sweetie, and remembering to breathe deep and listen to and heed my intuition.

spring is here!

and all is well.  for this i am very thankful!  in the past few weeks, i've been to sw utah, learned to roll a kayak, climbed a 170 foot spruce, rappelled down 150 foot cliffs, scooted through slot canyons, had dinner on the river in an adirondack rowboat, hot tubbed in a wood fired horse trough bath, eaten hunted deer, held two dead hummingbirds, taught 2nd graders how to do awesome things, been taught by 2nd graders about life, sweated in a sweat lodge, attended new and full moon ceremonies, have found myself living a life manifested by desires and dreams, have created connections that open and fulfill my heart...

...for all this i am so very thankful!
